A passion born early, a catering service born from the heart.

My name is Manette, but those close to me call me Manou. From a very young age, I’ve always had a natural passion for cooking. I started cooking early, around the age of 7 -8, by watching and helping out in my family’s kitchen.

Cooking quickly became a true joy — a way for me to show love and care for others. Whether it was for my family, my friends, or even sometimes people I didn’t know, the smiles after a good meal were the best reward I could ask for.

Over time, the compliments and repeated requests from friends, family, coworkers, and even strangers who had tasted my food encouraged me to take the next step. And that’s how La Touche de Manou was born — a catering service built on passion, honesty, and a deep attention to every detail.

My specialty: authentic Haitian cuisine, inspired by my roots, but also open to flavors from around the world — always with my personal touch.

First Steps in the Kitchen

It all started in our family kitchen, filled with aromas, laughter, and warmth. At the age of 7 or 8, I’d sneak between pots and pans, curious to watch, to learn, and to taste. It wasn’t just a game—it was pure magic. I quickly realized that cooking wasn’t just about food—it was a way to show love.

A Joy That Became a Passion

Cooking became a sacred moment for me. Whether it was a cozy dinner with family or an improvised dish with friends, every meal told a little piece of my story. The smiles, the grateful expressions, the happy sighs—those were my rewards. The more I cooked, the more I knew I had found my calling.

Over time, the compliments poured in. Friends, colleagues—even strangers—kept telling me: “You should do this professionally!” It wasn’t just a hobby anymore. Something inside me said it was time to share my passion with the world. And I listened.

That’s how La Touche de Manou was born: a catering service straight from the heart. Every dish is carefully crafted, every ingredient chosen with intention. I wanted to serve food that warms the soul, evokes memories, and brings people together—authentic, generous, and made with love.
